With FC Humber’s inaugural season now in full swing, the club continues its efforts in searching for new ideas and ways to further itself and apply that professional touch in our ever-present endeavour to learn, adapt and move forward; the inaugural season for Humber will also see the county cup make it’s return to the footballing season across the league’s and counties throughout the land.
Therefore, with the recent advancements from the East Riding Football Association, the club are pleased to confirm that we will face Hull City U23 Reserves in the East Riding County Cup Second Round. A fixture that will see Humber line-up against Hull City academy players, led by one Andy Dawson who has earned legend status from his tenure as a Hull City stalwart.
The fixture will perhaps provide an opportunity for the Humber players to impress in front of the professional coach set up off Hull City and provide a test off it’s own against the next generation of Hull City players. The date for the East Riding County Cup Second Round has been set for Tuesday 16th November; whilst we look forward to the test against Andy Dawson’s young Tiger’s, we very much look forward to welcoming Andy and his squad and further details regarding the tie are to come in due course.
With that said, we once again extend an opportunity to all in viewing the club’s official website: fchumberunited.co.uk for updates and further news on the Club’s county cup beginnings.
