With FC Humber United’s inaugural season edging ever closer, a major factor heading out of the club, a constant effort to learn, adapt and move forward. Having said that, the club endeavours to be as prepared as best we can for the coming NCEL Division 1 season. Therefore, we are pleased to announce the additions of Andy Leech and Oly Barton to the club’s coaching staff.

We welcome Andy in joining FC Humber United as player/coach, offering a vital support network to club management, Mark Maspero and Marc Brown. A natural leader on and off the pitch, Andy will identify as an ideal support link between the club’s coaching staff and players alongside club captain, Kev Simpson.

As an extension from this latest club news, Rafa Matos will subsequently move to become FC Humber’s First Team Match Analyst for the coming season, reviewing all the match day video footage in preparation for training and future games.

The Analysis from both training sessions and match day action, the club feels will be a key role for player development, and will subsequently give the coaching staff an opportunity in reviewing certain aspects of a players development on a weekly basis.

The club would also like to take this opportunity in welcoming Oly Barton, as the club’s Goalkeeping Coach, adding further support to the coaching staff for the season ahead.

Upon the recent additions, the club look forward to working alongside Andy, Rafa and Oly as we move forward with our Pre-Season efforts, heading into the season. We will also be announcing another exciting coach to join the management team very soon, full details to be revealed next week.

We extend an opportunity to all in viewing the clubs official website: www.fchumberunited.co.uk for further updates.
